Rich messages, with a plain one underneath
RCS puts a card with buttons in the phone’s own messaging app. Aqvitus asks the handset whether it can draw one — and when the answer is no, the same reply goes as a text message.
RCS is on the Team plan and up.
- The reply is composed onceA card, two buttons, and the written version ready
- The carrier is asked about this numberCan this handset draw a card with buttons? asked
- Yes — the card goesRendered in the phone’s own messaging app sent
The decision is made with the phone in hand
Whether a card arrives depends on the handset, the network and the moment — so Aqvitus does not decide when the reply is written. It decides when the reply is sent, for that one recipient.
- Order card
- Two buttons
- The written version
Delivered as RCS, in the phone’s own messaging app.
Delivered as SMS — measured and counted like any other text.
Whichever one arrives, a tap and the number 1 come back as the same structured fact, on the same conversation. And it is never half a card and half a text: if the reply cannot all go as a card, all of it goes as text.
What RCS carries, and what it hands back to SMS
A channel that sometimes has buttons is only useful if the platform is honest about when it does not.
Cards, and a carousel of them
An order, a return, a list of appointments: drawn as a card with buttons under it, inside the phone’s own messaging app. Several become a carousel they can swipe.
Buttons pick one answer
RCS suggestions choose a single reply, so a question that needs several boxes ticked — or a one-time code typed in — goes as text instead. Aqvitus knows which is which.
Your agent, your account
The RCS sender is bound to your own carrier account, with its credential held in a vault by reference. Knowing another workspace’s agent id gets nobody anywhere.
No block leaves without its written version
This is a rule in the platform, not a habit. A card, a picker, a set of times, a rating — each one is composed with a sentence that says the same thing, and a reply whose blocks are missing one is refused before it is sent rather than delivered as a blank.
It is why the same answer works in a chat window, in an email, on a text message, on a card with buttons, and read aloud on a phone call.
How it connects
Every channel runs the same AI, the same rules and the same history.
AI First. Human Always.
Put the AI in front of every conversation, and keep your team in charge of everything that matters.
