How Aqvitus compares
Five tools a support team actually shortlists, with what each one does well and where Aqvitus works differently. Their prices are as they list them; ours are on one page with nothing held back.
Every competitor figure on these pages is as listed on their site on 29 September 2026.
How each one charges for its AI
The base price is only half the bill. The other half is how the AI is counted — and the six products below count six different things.
| Product | What the base price buys | How the AI is charged | What the AI costs | Trial |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aqvitus | $49, $249 or $749 a month, with 2, 6 or 20 people included | per AI conversation — counted once, however it ends | $0.30, $0.25 or $0.20 after the plan’s allowance | 14 days of Team, no card |
| Intercom Fin | Intercom seats from $19 to $139 per seat a month, depending on the plan, the billing period and a price test running on their own pricing page | per Fin “outcome” — and their FAQ counts one when the customer does not ask for more help after Fin replies | $0.99 an outcome, and $9.99 for a sales qualification | 14 days, no card |
| Zendesk | $19 to $169 per agent a month billed annually ($25 to $219 monthly); the top tier is sales-only | per automated resolution — a request resolved by the AI without escalating to a person — beyond 5 to 15 included per agent a month | $1.50 a resolution committed, $2.00 pay as you go | 14 days, no card |
| Freshdesk | Freshdesk $19 to $89 per agent a month billed annually ($23 to $107 monthly); Freshdesk Omni, the omnichannel suite, $29 to $119 | per Freddy AI session — everything a customer sends within 24 hours on chat, or 72 hours on email — charged whether or not the issue is resolved | $49 per 100 sessions, about $0.49 each, after a one-time 500 | 14 days on their top plan |
| Tidio | Free to $349 a month, priced by human conversation volume; the Plus tier starts at $300 a month plus usage | per Lyro conversation — any conversation the AI replied to at least once, touched rather than resolved | about $0.70 to $0.78 a conversation; 1,000 a month is $700 on top of the plan | 7 days, no card, then the account drops to the free plan |
| LiveChat | LiveChat $19 to $79 per person a month billed annually ($25 to $89 monthly); the Text plans that carry the AI agent are $19 to $79 per user a month | per AI resolution — counted when the AI directly solves at least one customer question, once per conversation; handoffs without an answer do not count | $0.99 a resolution, sold in packs of 50 for $49.50, beyond 10 a month on Essential or 200 on Growth | 14 days, no card |

Where Aqvitus is different
Not longer feature lists — different answers to the two questions every one of these tools has to answer: who decides, and what gets counted.
Control you can see
Every conversation sits in a lane — Auto, Draft or Route — and every action the AI proposes is held and checked against rules you wrote before anything happens.
Silence is never a success
Aqvitus keeps a resolution it confirmed apart from one it only assumed, in the inbox and in every report. Several tools count a customer going quiet as a win — and bill for it.
One meter, and no per-resolution fee
You pay by the AI conversation, counted once however it ends. There is no separate charge for a resolution, a qualification, or a contact.
Five channels in one product
Chat, email, SMS, voice and RCS are the same inbox, the same AI and the same rules. Team and up include all five; Starter is chat and email.
Your AI, or ours
Work is routed to a model by the kind of task rather than wired to one vendor, so an Enterprise workspace can bring its own key or run models it hosts itself.
A small team sees the same product
There is one Aqvitus. A two-person workspace gets the lanes, the approvals, the event log and the testing, not a cut-down edition of them.

Every fact about another product was read from that product's own pages on 29 September 2026 and is dated on the page where it appears. Where a page of theirs contradicts another page of theirs, we say so rather than picking the number that suits us. Prices change, and a comparison page is a snapshot — check theirs before you decide.
Each page also says when the other product is the better choice. Some of them are older, larger and have things Aqvitus does not.
AI First. Human Always.
Put the AI in front of every conversation, and keep your team in charge of everything that matters.
